His journey began as a professional dancer. After training at the prestigious LaGuardia H.S. and the Dance Theatre of Harlem on scholarship, Jashiro embarked on a successful performance career with companies like Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company. This passion culminated in the founding of his own company, The Jashiro Dean Dance Company.
Today, Jashiro channels this extensive experience into his work as a Choreographer and Dance Educator. He is currently available for hire, offering services ranging from creating original choreography for companies and projects to teaching master classes and workshops for studios and institutions.
